We pressure treat all ground contact wood products with ACQ Nature Wood. The system is based on copper combined with a quaternary ammonium compound. It’s the recommend wood treatment. It provides the same level of performance as CCA without the toxins like arsenic and chromium.

What is NatureWood® Treated Lumber?

The NatureWood® lumber preservative is a waterborne, alkaline copper quaternary preservative system developed to provide long-term protection of wood exposed in exterior applications. The NatureWood® system is based on the well-established effectiveness of copper combined with an organic quaternary compound and is applied to wood by pressure treatment. NatureWood® treated wood products are available for above ground, ground contact and fresh water contact applications for projects such as decks, fences and landscaping.
